How reputation works
Reputation on CAS1NO is built on knowledge and contribution — never on how much someone plays. It is calculated from documented contributions with a fixed, open formula and is not stored: the same inputs always give the same result.

What counts
Each part has a fixed weight. The numbers below are the ones in use right now.

| Helpful contributions | 2 points per published review that counts (at most 10 reviews) + 1 per unique helpful vote on it (at most 10 votes per review). Duplicates and reviews with a declared conflict of interest do not count. |
| Quality answers | 1 points per unique helpful vote on a post or comment (at most 10 per post). |
| Accepted corrections | 5 points per accepted correction. A reviewer, not the proposer, decides. |
| Verification | 10 points for verified professional status, plus 2 per review with a publicly verified claim (at most 5 reviews). Verified deposit, withdrawal, account-bound, bonus and operator-confirmed claims never count. |
| Moderation history | −5 points per item currently hidden by moderation; a restored item carries no deduction. |
| Report quality | 1 points per own report moderation actioned (at most 10). Dismissed reports carry no deduction. |
| Complaint contribution | Not included (cannot be linked to a profile). |
Reputation cannot go below 0.
What never counts
The following is never shown on a profile and can neither raise nor lower reputation:
- total wagered
- deposits
- losses
- largest bet
- gambling frequency
The seven expertise domains
Expertise is built per domain from accepted corrections in the domain, helpful votes on contributions in the domain and a verified professional status in the domain. Reviews are about casinos and therefore count in the Casinos domain — but only once the review has at least one unique helpful vote or an allowed verified claim; the number of reviews alone earns no expertise.

Contributor: at least 5 domain points.
Expert: at least 15 domain points, at least one accepted correction or verified professional status in the domain, and no content hidden by moderation.
Badges and their rules
Every badge has open criteria. A profile only shows badges that are awarded, and each badge explains itself with the actual values. The Trusted reporter badge is never shown on a public profile, only to the member.

Privacy
Reputation, badges, reviews, discussions, corrections, votes and followed interests are shown on a profile only if the member turned that section on. Public lists and verified professional status are shown by default because the member already made them public explicitly. A member can hide the whole profile. The reputation on a profile is only calculated from what is shown there: a hidden section contributes no points, badges, expertise or votes. Own report history is never shown publicly. Moderation history is always included, only as a single count.
Limitations
- Votes count per unique member and at most 10 per post, but there is no automatic detection of coordinated voting yet.
- Complaint contribution is not included: complaints are filed anonymously and cannot be linked to a profile.
- Reputation is not an assessment of a person and not legal advice.
